The printing sector, which began as one of the world's oldest professions, maintains its relevance and validity in parallel with the development of information technologies. Today, rapid developments in printing technologies have increased the need for educated technical personnel.
With the aim of meeting the qualified workforce needs of the sector, the department offers courses with an experienced academic staff and up-to-date content to train individuals who can bring together the necessary equipment for the design, printing, and publishing of all kinds of materials and turn them into finished products, while also possessing the competence to market and advertise them, and who can serve as managers and intermediate staff in printing and publishing enterprises with healthy technical and individual communication skills.

In proportion to its rapidly developing industry and increasing population, our country's need for electrical energy is increasing every day. The limited energy resources in our country reveal our external dependency in meeting this need. For this reason, attention should be paid to the efficient and economical consumption of electrical energy throughout the process from production to consumption. In this case, our country's need for a well-trained intermediate workforce to serve in the production, distribution, transmission, and efficient use of electrical energy is increasing day by day. This program started admitting students in the 2012-2013 academic year to meet the need for intermediate personnel who can work in every field from the production to consumption of electricity, in public institutions such as EİE, TEİAŞ, EÜAŞ, TETAŞ, in all organizations responsible for the distribution and marketing of electrical energy, and in all industrial organizations using electrical energy. It is also possible for graduates of this program to be employed as assistants to energy managers in enterprises where employing an energy manager is mandatory.

The effective promotion of products we encounter in all kinds of mass media—newspapers, television, and the internet—is determined by their popularity or, in other words, their success in reaching their target. This requires knowledge and application of many design criteria and graphic principles, from appropriate target audience selection to customer requests, from the chosen slogan to the visuals, and from the colors used to the composition created. The Graphic Design program aims to meet the qualified workforce needs in this field.

The Department of Construction is a program that provides pre-education and training on the construction and operation of all kinds of structures used in people's daily lives. Construction Technology is a technical discipline based on mathematics and physics education, providing general information in major engineering sciences such as structures, mechanics, hydraulics, building materials, transportation, geotechnics, and construction management. The main goal of the program is to train technical personnel who follow science and technology and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to put this information into practice in parallel with developing technology.
For this purpose, in addition to theoretical knowledge, practical information to be used in the application field is provided hands-on in laboratories (building materials laboratory, highways laboratory, land surveying instruments, soil mechanics laboratory). Licensed training is provided for many computer programs related to the department. Students graduating from the construction technology program are trained as intermediate personnel (vocational staff) with sufficient knowledge and work skills in areas needed by the construction sector, including private engineering and architecture offices, construction companies, building inspection firms, and the public sector.
